"No, it's ridiculous. It's completely absurd. Here's what they got you to believe that really if you probe people's minds such as they are, people seem to believe that second hand smoke is worse than first hand smoke. They really kind of believe that. They could not get people to stop smoking because smoking is actually not a character flaw, it's an addiction. They cannot get people to stop smoking. The people who smoked, the smokers. So they got people to stop smoking by having the non-smokers make laws against people who smoke. And it worked. It's mostly a left thing. In other words, in this country this anti-smoking thing was kind of from the left. I don't mean communists. I just mean liberals, lefty type people. And the last thirty years at least, that's the only thing lefties succeeded at. They spent thirty years because smoking was such a common thing.
